GNG Nostrils Rhinoplasty?
The nostrils, which are the center of the face, can be the cause aesthetic dissatisfaction if the degree of sagging, asymmetry, excessive size, etc of nostrils is severe. In such case, it is recommended to correct the nostrils to a normal position. GNG Nostrils Rhinoplasty performs customized surgery based on facial balance, skin elasticity, cartilage size and strength to give the ideal nose shape for each individual.
GNG Nostrils Rhinoplasty
GNG closely monitors the condition of each patient through thorough test and analysis to present customized surgery plan that improves shape of nostrils according to face ratio and proportions of each individual.
If alar cartilage is upturned
Reposition alar cartilage
If your alar cartilage is upturned and shows too much nostrils, the alar cartilage is separated and additional cartilage is implanted to position the nasal tip downward.
If nose skin is upturned
Position alar downward(skin graft)
If the nose looks upturned due to lack of elasticity, incision is made on the inner nostrils and the skin is implanted to lower the alar.
If alar is droopy
Project alar(skin removal)
If droopy alar makes your nose look unbalanced, inner nose skin is removed and tightly pulled up and fastened.
If Nostrils are large
If the nostrils are too large, nostril size is reduced through nostrils reduction procedure.
Asymmetrical nostril shape due to septum deviation
Implant septum support
In case of asymmetry of nostril, septum support is transplanted to symmetrically adjust the height of alar cartilage.
Distorted nostrils(Reconstruction surgery)
V-Y incision/implant + cartilage implant
If the shape of nostrils is distorted due to side effect of primary surgery, V-shape incision is made on the inside of nose and Y-shaped cartilage is implanted and sutured.

Why get Nostrils Rhinoplasty done at GNG?
Nostrils Rhinoplasty is a complex surgery.
Ensure satisfactory result by getting the procedure done by skilled specialists!
The reason why the nostrils appear to be asymmetrical or the face ratio doesn’t seem appropriate is due to
many reasons such as the size of the wing cartilage, the elasticity of the skin, the strength of cartilage,
side effect after nose surgery and so on. If the same procedure is conducted ignoring the root cause,
it would be difficult to see proper correction of nostrils.
At GNG Hospital, we are able to conduct appropriate surgery for each cause and for each individual.
In addition to that, each nostrils rhinoplasty method are considered highly complex as it requires combination of additional procedures such as cartilage graft, skin graft and removal.
The precise surgical procedure based on precise diagnosis are carried out by the ENT specialists at GNG Hospital as they possess vast aesthetic experience, anatomy knowledge of nose as well as know-how to give the best result.
Point 2 Beautiful nose in every angle!
The nostrils shaped like an ellipse that are about 2mm visible from the center axis when viewed from the side, and the symmetrical shape close to the shape of isosceles triangle from the bottom is the most ideally shaped nostrils. After accurate diagnosis and planning, the most beautiful ratio that matches the individual is planned and the surgery is then proceeded. Thanks to numerous aesthetic experience in rhinoplasty, GNG medical team aims for a nose that looks outstanding from every angle.
Point 3 Prevent scarring
Most nostrils rhinoplasty is proceeded through inner nasal incision. Because of this, the scars are not visible to the naked eye. If you need to incise outer skin however, suturing is important to avoid scarring. Scars usually form when the skin tissue doesn’t properly join together during the healing process. At GNG however, we prevent scarring by delicate and thorough sutures.
GNG Thorough Physical Examination
For patient’s safety and accurate surgery plan, we perform precise body examination including nasal endoscopy, X-ray and 3D CT Scan.
