Different osteotomy methods must be selected during surgery depending on the shape of the bone and the location of the nerves. To identify the type of chin shape, rigorous preceding tests must be conducted. It is especially important to correctly identify the location of the nerves and make a surgery plan to ensure that no nerves are damaged during the osteotomy process.

There are different osteotomy methods to improve the shape of the chin. We conduct close examinations to identify the size of the lower jaw, soft tissue and nerves and then draft and execute a surgery plan for the most ideal v-line angle and the most appropriate amount of reduction in the chin. As all of this is planned in advance, we are able to reposition the end of the chin in a way to create the most ideal v-line face.
