GNG Anesthesia Pain Management

At GNG Hospital,
we operate a specialized anesthetic pain
management system as our first priority is safety.

Anesthesia Pain Management System Prioritizing Safety

Anesthesiologists take on a 1:1 responsibility system from pre to post operation to continue managing the patient’s condition.

Before Operation

    • Full body examination prior to surgery using in-house medical equipment

Patients can receive a full body examination within the hospital that consists of 50 different categories. Through systematic screening, we check the possibility to undergo operation, and the things that should be avoided in order to ensure safe operation.

    • Selection of anesthetic after checking the condition of patient

As all patients’ conditions are different, the condition of a patient is observed before operation to select appropriate anesthetic.

During Operation

    • Dedicated management enforcement

The anesthesiologist takes responsibility for the safety of the patient by continuing to monitor the patient’s condition before the operation.

    • A dantrolene, a muscle relaxer used to treat malignant hyperthermia, is available at GNG hospital.

Malignant hyperthermia is a very rare illness with the estimated frequency at 1 in 60,000 general anesthesia patients. GNG hospital is best-positioned to prepare for emergency situations as we are equipped with dantrolene.
