What is arrow/long nose rhinoplasty?
Arrow/long nose refers to droopy nose tip that covers philtrum.
The cause of such nose is due to mispositioned alar cartilage and overdeveloped septum. To correct this, droopy tip must be projected.
GNG Arrow/long nose rhinoplasty repositions cartilage and correct septum deviation to reduce the length of the nose to create soft appearance.
Diagnosis of arrow/long nose
When observed from the side, arrow/long nose shows smaller nasolabial angle and makes your nose look longer especially when you laugh. From the front facial angle, the nose tip
covers philtrum due to droopiness.
