What is GNG Canthoplasty?

If a Canthoplasty procedure only focuses on simply broadening and enlarging the size of the eyes, functional side effects may occur. Not only for that reason, as each individual has different heights and widths of eyes as well as size of orbit, an individually customized surgery that considers the harmony of the whole face should be conducted.

Ideal Eye Ratio
The ideal ratio of the eyes is identical length of
both eyes and space between.
The length of Approximately 30~35mm is common.
The location of inner corner of eyes must be perpendicular to the nostril.
The tail of eyes must be perpendicular to the end of the eyebrows and nostrils.
It is ideal that the eye tail is raised slightly above the inner corner of eyes.
Point 2 Prevent and minimize scarring

In general, there are many cases where the incised area after a canthoplasty adheres due to improper suturing thus making the eyes look the same as before surgery. GNG Canthoplasty, on the other hand, performs a micro incision to minimize damage to skin tissue preventing reattachment of skin and minimize scarring.
Sedation+ local anesthesia is administered at the same time for patients who feel anxious about pain and anesthesia.
To minimize anxiousness about pain and anesthesia before surgery, GNG anesthesiologist administers light sedation and then local anesthesia to minimize pain and stress from before to completion of surgery.

What is a HEPA filter ventilated operation room?
The air outside the operating room is filtered cleanly by the HEPA filter and circulated inside.
Because air is circulated by providing clean air through a positive pressure system, you don’t need to worry about infection caused by air pollution thus having surgery with confidence.
Also, there is an air-shower system that shakes off contaminated dust before entering the operating room. We strive to do our best in preventing infection through sterilization and thorough infection control of all medical devices.
